Features
1. Main insulation state
- Monitors partial discharges in transformer insulation

It is an on-line electrical and chemical diagnostic monitoring system for oil-immersed large power transformers. This device consists of Model TDM I for an electrical diagnostics and Model TGA-8 for a chemical diagnostics. TDM I monitors tan delta, capacitance, conductive currents and partial discharges of HV bushings and measures phase load currents and neutral current to detect winding imbalances and checks differences of temperature between top oil and bottom oil to estimate the efficiency of a cooling system. TGA-6 or TGA-8 analyzes the dissolved gases in the insulating oil using oil chromatography. The detectable gases include hydrogen (H2), carbon monoxide (CO), methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), ethylene (C2H4), acetylene (C2H2) and so on. |
