High Voltage Power Cables Diagnostics Monitor
Introduction
Continuous PD On-line Monitoring System for HV Cable Systems
The KCM-30 device (Cable Diagnostic Monitor) is used for on-line insulation monitoring up to 30 cables. The KCM-30 device has effective collection of hardware and firmware techniques for noise rejection. Built-in expert system (PD-Expert) automatically assesses partial discharges level and identify type of defect in cable insulation. The PD-Expert system allows separating several identical defects in one cable.

Features
1. PD Diagnosis of HV cable systems
- Measures and analyzes the partial discharge generated from the defects in
  the cable insulation
2. PD fault localization of HV cable systems
- Locates the PD sources in cable systems using TDR method
